Tempest X offers an updated 3D version to Tempest the single most popular arcade game of all time by adding an organic feel to the web making it come alive during gameplay. Five new 3D enemy types have been added all with their own distinct abilities. The game includes dazzling new visual effects. You will have an all-new ultimate weapon called SuperZapper which explodes freezes or bites enemies. Tempest X is based on a fairly simple concept. The player is a creature at one end of an two-dimensional shape and the player does not want the other creatures (enemies) on the other far end of the "web" to rise up to your end and kill you. The player's job is to shoot at the enemies and kill them before they shoot and kill you.
