Originally designed as a "Space Invaders" clone, as the title suggests. After witnessing Atari relentless sue anyone who released clones of games that it had licensed, Emerson as UA Ltd. decided to quickly put together an original game. However, the game manual still shows a screenshot of the Space Invaders clone, as well as scoring instructions for the game that never was.
