The phenomenally successful COOL BOARDERS series makes its way to the Dreamcast with RIPPIN’ RIDERS SNOWBOARDING. You start the game with seven snowboarders to choose from—each with his or her own strengths and weaknesses—so you’re bound to find one that fits your snowboarding style. There is only one course available when you start the game but once you meet certain parameters, new courses and even more characters and outfits become available. You have three different modes that let you strut your stuff. In the Match Race it’s a one-on-one affair, you against a friend. In the Half Pipe it’s all about tricks, namely how many you can pull off in the allotted time. And in the Free Race it’s just you against the mountain, which is littered with huge ramps that are perfect for pulling off some impressive tricks.
